Guidelines We handed out many quilt barn trail maps at "The Quilts of Berne and Knox." We'd like to clarify what we mean by "please respect private property." Visitors should stay in their vehicles unless the barn quilt is at a public place, such as Thacher Nature Center. Also, several barn quilts are at "working farms," which means these farms are private places of business and not petting zoos or parks. Visitors should remain in their vehicles while admiring the barn quilts and farm buildings. We want everyone to have a safe and enjoyable visit! Please see our Liability Clause and Guidelines for more information.

Thacher Nature Center
The barn quilt at Thacher Nature Center has been installed in the driveway circle! You can drive around or park in the parking lot and walk over to see it. Learn more about this two-sided barn quilt here (scroll down). |
Quilt Shows Hundreds visited "The Quilts of Berne and Knox" on August 3. Berne Historical Society displayed many beautiful antique quilts from its collection. The Knox show featured the work of the quilters of Knox Reformed Church, and several former members enjoyed reminiscing. Our demonstration on creating barn quilts had many interested visitors. Prizes at the Knox show included a 1'x1' decorative barn quilt from Beebe Farm IdeaWorks.
